🎤 About the Event
K-TALK 2025 is a global Korean language speaking festival where learners of Korean around the world can freely express their thoughts and emotions in Korean.
Share your stories, songs, and cultural experiences through the Korean language!
📚 Categories (Choose One)
1️⃣ Story Talk – Share touching, funny, or memorable personal stories in Korean.
2️⃣ Culture Talk – Compare and discuss cultural similarities or differences between Korea and your country.
3️⃣ Topic Talk – Speak about an assigned or self-chosen topic from daily life, school, or society.
4️⃣ Music Talk – Express yourself through music such as singing, rap, or rhythm speech in Korean.
5️⃣ Free Talk – Be creative! Present your ideas in any format such as drama, interview, or parody.
🎬 Participation Guidelines
- Eligibility: Korean language learners worldwide
- Format: Individual or team
- Video length: max 5 minutes
- Language: Korean
- Submission: Upload your video to YouTube (Public or Unlisted) and provide the link in the form
💵 Participant Fee
- Application Fee: USD $20 per person (including team entries; each member must pay individually)
- Payment Method: Details will be provided in the online application form.
- Note: If participants later travel to Korea for interviews, performances, or related opportunities, all travel expenses must be self-funded.
- Scholarship or financial support may be available depending on the situation.)
🗓 Schedule
- Application Period: Oct 1, 2025 – Dec 23, 2025
- Result Announcement: Dec 31, 2025 (on the SKFL website)
- Award Ceremony: To be held during the SKFL Summer/Winter Conference
🏅 Awards (by Proficiency Level)
Participants will be evaluated and awarded within three proficiency levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Each level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) includes:🏅 Grand Prize (1 person/team) – Certificate and prize
🥇 Gold Award (1 per level) – Certificate and prize
🥈 Silver Award (1 per level) – Certificate and prize
🥉 Bronze Award (1–2 per level) – Certificate
🏵 Honorable Mention – Certificate
🌟 Special Award – Recommended by judges
※ Proficiency levels will be determined based on the participant’s self-reported Korean learning experience and institution.
